Science & Storytelling

Academic research isn’t always shared in ways that capture how exciting it really is.

I love taking complex science and weaving it into a compelling narrative; one that highlights the curiosity, creativity, and real-world impact of research while keeping audiences engaged from start to finish.

About me

I’m a science communicator and biochemistry PhD candidate in John Burke’s lab at the University of Victoria, Canada.

Alongside my doctoral research, I produce podcasts, videos, and written work that translate complex science for broad audiences.

Projects

Podcasting

Long-form audio podcast that translates graduate research into engaging, plain-language conversations.

Videos

Short-form video and digital media that make academic research accessible beyond the lab.

Writing

Blogs and op-eds that explore the human side of scientific work (including adventures in the high Arctic).
